I made the following educational materials:

Philippine Sky Atlas

A complete map of the night sky made specifically for Philippine latitudes. Consisting of only four pages of black-and-white print, it is designed to be easily photocopied and distributed.

Our sky atlas has a star magnitude limit of 5.5 and deep-sky magnitude limit of 7.0. It uses all the standard map symbols used in popular atlases such as the Norton's Star Atlas 2000 and Wil Tirion's Sky Atlas 2000.0.

Moon Map

A map of the near side of the moon containing 15 mare and oceans and 101 craters, mountains, and other features.

Philippine Planetary Chart

Having trouble finding Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn? This planetary chart will help you find the planets by telling you what time they rise and set throughout the year.

Astronomical Calendar

What's up tonight? No problem. From eclipses, meteor showers, comets, and conjunctions, to variable stars, transits, and occultations, our Astronomical Calendar is by far the most comprehensive datebook of astronomical phenomena visible from the Philippines.

Philippine Ephemeris

Made for the more advanced observer, the Philippine Ephemeris has complete astronomical tables for the eight planets and the three dwarf planets.

Custom Starmaps

We'll make you a starmap to fit your specific needs. Customize the date, place, star and deep-sky magnitude limit, which objects are included, and even the fonts and colors.

Custom Predictions

We do predictions of the circumstances of specific astronomical events, such as eclipses, meteor showers, lunar occultations, and the passage of comets. Just tell us where you plan to observe an event and we tell you exactly what you will see.

How to Order:

  • All our publications mentioned above are distributable free of charge. You only need to pay for the minimal charges of printing, photocopying, and distribution. Feel free to redistribute them after receiving your copy!

  • For custom starmaps and astronomical predictions, you pay additional minimal charges for the time spent creating them.

  • Please visit www.pyxis.astronomy.com.ph for details on how to contact us. We also provide stargazing services and astronomy camps.
